     This is a typical recent work. In April of 2001, this piece and several other works of mine drew favorable attention during an exhibition in Sakai City (Osaka), Japan. In 2010, this work and 2 others were selected for extended loan (3 years) to the American Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal.
     Although the work appears to be made of tile, mosaic, terra cotta or something, this is in fact a painted paper relief.
